DESCRIPTION:

This training equips play therapists with practical, developmentally appropriate strategies for working with children navigating divorce and high-conflict caregiving relationships. Participants will strengthen their confidence in using play therapy to address emotional and behavioral needs while supporting children in complex family systems. 

Through clinical examples and application-focused discussion, participants will explore common themes observed in the playroom, implement evidence-informed play therapy interventions, and learn effective approaches for collaborating with high-conflict caregivers. Emphasis will also be placed on treatment planning, documentation, and ethical considerations when working with these families. 

This training is ideal for play therapists seeking to enhance clinical effectiveness, reduce uncertainty when managing high-conflict dynamics, and improve outcomes for children and families.
