Training Description
This play therapy training is offered Live In-Person for contact hours and Virtual via Zoom Platform for non-contact hours.
This is the fourth training of the Exploring History and Seminal Theories of Play Therapy series.
This training offers an overview of psychodynamic influences in play therapy, with a focus on Gestalt, Jungian, and Object Relations approaches. Participants will explore how these theories view the inner world of the child, the therapeutic relationship, and the symbolic nature of play. The training will highlight core concepts from each approach and demonstrate how they inform play therapy techniques, interpretation, and the process of emotional healing.
