In this training, participants will learn how to target material relating to the child’s early attachment wounds, including targets without an explicit memory. Participants will identify specific stabilization skills useful in the playroom for reducing dysregulation relating to developmental trauma. Steps for implementing an EMDR Developmental Protocol for play therapy will be explained.
*Pre-requisites: This training is open to all clinicians, including those with no prior EMDR training. The theory and skills taught in this course are applicable for all clinicians. Since Rhonda is an EMDR Approved Consultant and trainer in EMDR therapy, there will be discussion of how to integrate the information into the EMDR Therapy Standard Protocol. Only participants who have completed EMDRA-Approved Basic EMDR Training will receive EMDRIA credit.
